This is so easy to use! I plugged it in to the HDMI port on my TV (which has only 2 HDMI ports, and one is used for the STB), then connected the DVD player and Roku stick to the other two HDMI ports and voila! Push the button and the #1 led lights up, and the Roku selection is displayed; push the button again, and the #2 led lights up and the DVD player is displayed. What could be easier? I just started using it so I can't say how well it will hold up with constant use, but so far it's working really well, it was really easy to set up, and it was a really great price.

This HDMI switch is perfect for my purposes. I have an older TV with too few HDMI ports. This switch allows me to connect two devices (Fire Stick and DVD player) to a single port and works perfectly to alternate between them. My only wish would be that the space between the two inputs were greater, as the housing of the Fire Stick is too wide to connect a second HDMI cable, a problem I remedied by using a short extension cable on the Fire Stick.
